Wegner CPAs is proud to announce that we have been named a 2026 Top Workplace by the Wisconsin State Journal and USA Today, marking our fifth consecutive year receiving these recognitions.
The Top Workplace USA award honors organizations with 150 or more employees that have created exceptional, people-first cultures. This year, more than 42,000 organizations were invited to participate. The winners are recognized for their commitment to fostering a workplace environment that values employee listening and engagement.
The winners are determined by authentic employee feedback captured through a confidential survey conducted by Energage, the HR research and technology company behind the Top Workplaces program since 2006. The survey measures employee experience through its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few. At Wegner, these aren’t just survey categories, they are the foundation of how we operate every day.
“Our team is the heart of our firm, and we are honored that their feedback has led to this recognition for the fifth consecutive year,” said Glenn Miller, CPA, CGMA, Managing Partner at Wegner CPAs.
“We are continuously striving to build a workplace where employees feel heard, supported, and excited about their work, and this recognition is a testament to that commitment.”
This recognition reflects the culture our team has built together: one grounded in trust, flexibility, and meaningful connection. As one anonymous employee shared through the survey, “If you want to be in public accounting and have a good life outside of work too, then Wegner CPAs is the place to be.”

Another employee highlighted the sense of belonging and purpose that defines the Wegner experience, “I feel valued and cared for. I am passionate about the work I do and the people I work with. I have made incredible relationships at Wegner that I can’t replicate elsewhere.”
“Earning a USA TODAY Top Workplaces award is a testament to an organization’s credibility and commitment to a people-first culture,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “This award, driven by real employee feedback, is more than just a recognition — it’s proof that your employees believe in the organization and its leadership. Job seekers and customers look for this trusted badge of credibility and excellence. It signals a company that values its people, and that kind of culture resonates in today’s competitive market.”
At Wegner, we believe that when people feel supported and empowered, they do their best work, for each other and for our clients. This award reinforces our commitment to continuously evolving, listening to our team, and creating an environment where people can thrive both professionally and personally.
