Mike Hablewitz specializes in nonprofit audit and assurance services, working closely with mission-driven organizations to strengthen reporting, governance, and internal controls. Drawing on decades of experience serving nonprofit organizations, he helps clients navigate complex audit and compliance requirements while maintaining strong governance practices.

Based in Madison, Mike works with nonprofit organizations throughout Wisconsin and the United States. His experience includes financial statement audits, compliance engagements, and school choice (PSCP) and SNSP audits that require specialized regulatory reporting.

Mike takes particular interest in helping organizations strengthen internal controls that safeguard assets and support reliable financial reporting. By helping clients improve accounting processes and financial systems, he supports the long-term financial stability that allows nonprofit organizations to sustain and grow their missions.

In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his four children, especially when he is coaching their sports teams. Not tied to the sidelines, Mike also enjoys playing sports, particularly golf and softball. When he isn’t coaching or playing sports, he enjoys spectating, especially for Wisconsin’s Badgers, Packers and Brewers.
