John is a partner in Wegner CPAs’ Tax and Business Services Department. He joined the firm in 2013 with more than 20 years of public accounting experience. John’s passion is working with business owners to help them solve problems and be a partner in their success. He strives to provide his clients with value-added recommendations to help them reach their long-term goals. Throughout his career, John has gained extensive experience in the following areas:

Just for Fun

While away from the office, John enjoys spending quality time and vacations with his wife, kids, and yellow Labrador. He loves being outdoors in all four of Wisconsin’s beautiful seasons. John also enjoys reading and learning about history, and has a passion for old cars. In the summer, you may see him driving around Middleton in his 1930 Ford Model A, which was used in a few background scenes during filming of the 2009 movie “Public Enemies”.
