Non-Profit Roundtable (Madison) | How to Prepare for an Audit

July 17 | 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

$10.00
Adam Kuczynski

One of the most stressful times of year for nonprofit organizations is audit time.  However, it doesn’t have to be that way if you come into the audit process prepared.

The session will focus on the following areas:

  • Identifying why an audit is needed
  • A year-round mindset in preparing for an audit
  • How technology can help streamline the audit process

The session will also include time at the end of the presentation for any questions or tips as it relates to preparing for an audit and what auditors are typically looking for when conducting an audit.

Our presenter will be Adam Kuczynski, CPA, Manager in Wegner CPAs’ assurance department. Adam has worked for the last seven years on the audits of a number of different tax-exempt organizations, and annually attends continuing professional education seminars on accounting, auditing, compliance, and tax issues.
