In addition to his consulting work, Brent is a popular speaker at national, regional, and local conferences on nonprofit leadership and fundraising. Brent is also a faculty member of the University of St. Thomas’s Fundraising Certificate Series, where he teaches courses on capital campaigns and nonprofit marketing. He earned an M.A. in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
