Audit Manager

Wegner CPAs is looking to hire a full-time Audit Manager to provide compliance and consulting services for our clients. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a desire to become Partner, but not interested in developing new business.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUDIT MANAGER

As an Audit Manager, you are a leader in our Assurance department and communicate directly with our clients. You provide GAAP compliance and advisory services in various areas of corporate as well as flow-through assurance and business needs. In order to perform high-quality services, you research different GAAP matters, respond to regulatory authority inquiries, and make recommendations for your clients to consider. You always ensure that the recommendations you make are in the best interest of your clients.

In addition, you coordinate with your team members regarding staffing and other administration duties. You also lead team projects and use these opportunities to form friendships with the people that you work with. Professional development is important to you, and you continuously seek out networking opportunities both internally and externally in order to establish and maintain working relationships. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUDIT MANAGER

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 4+ years of experience providing GAAP compliance and consulting services
• CPA or willingness to obtain (don’t have it yet? No problem! We’ll pay for it!)
• Ability to lead and supervise others
• Skilled with Microsoft Office programs
• Strong project management skills
