Compliance Audits
Wegner uses a risk-based approach in all compliance audits. All compliance audits are
performed in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) as well as
Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). Wegner staffs each compliance audit engagement
with an in-charge auditor that meets the required GAGAS continuing professional education
requirements. Depending on the sources and amount of government funding, an entity maybe required
to have audits in accordance with the Single Audit Act (OMB-Circular A-133), Provider Agency
Audit Guide (PAAG), and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) audit requirements
Compliance audit requirements can be satisfied with "Program Audits" as well as "Agency-Wide Audits."
