Kristine is a supervisor in Wegner CPA's Assurance Department. She joined the firm in 2007 working primarily on audits of employee benefit plans and non-profits. Kristine has eight years experience auditing various types of employee benefit plans plus commercial, governmental, and non-profit organizations. Kristine enjoys assisting clients through the maze of rules that apply to employee benefit plans and initiated our current proactive approach to assisting plans with compliance with ERISA and IRS rules.

Kristine's career in public accounting has given her extensive experience in employee benefit plan audits and audits of commercial, governmental, and non-profit organizations, including being the in-charge and relationship manager of Wegner CPA's largest audit client. This experience has given her a very deep background in managing audits, testing compliance with applicable rules, and in constructively suggesting client systems to ensure compliance.

Kristine received her Bachelor of Science, Accounting Major and Business Administration Minor, from Winona State University. She received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. Kristine is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
