Wisconsin EFT Website
Businesses will not be able to make sales/use tax, withholding payroll tax, premier resort area tax, or business tax registration fees using the Wisconsin EFT website after January 4, 2010. Starting January 5, 2010 businesses will need to use the new online system called "My Tax Account." The new online system will allow businesses to file and amend returns, make payments, view current status, and manage and update account information.
Businesses will not be able to make Unemployment Insurance tax payments using the WI EFT website after March 14, 2010. Unemployment Insurance tax payments cannot be made on the state's new online system My Tax Account. Businesses will be able to file returns, make payments, view account history, and update company information using The Department of Workforce Development Unemployment Insurance's website. Information regarding UI EFT payments can be found on Department of Workforce Development's website (www.dwd.state.wi.us/uitax/eft/debit.htm)
If you haven't already registered for the My Tax Account, we would be happy to register for a Wisconsin Web Access Management System (WAMS) ID and setup a My Tax Account for you. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact Brandi Pellett at our Madison office at 608-442-1949 or Evan Thom at our Baraboo office at 608-356-3966.
