Small Business Consultant – Tax & Business Services Department - Madison

Wegner LLP, CPAs & Consultants is seeking experienced accountant who enjoys working with technology to join our small business advisors team. You will provide services directly to the business owner(s) to assist them in achieving their financial goals.

This position will work with a variety of general ledger software including - Peachtree, Creative Solutions Accounting, and Microsoft Dynamics GP. The Consultant will provide system analysis, accounting and technical support as well as one-on-one training. He/she will also evaluate existing client accounting systems, make recommendations for utilizing current system more effectively or alternatively for new software, including third party add-ons. The Consultant will provide best practices procedures, technical support, and customized training to new and existing clients.

Bachelors degree in accounting or associate degree with equivalent experience. Excellent problem solving skills required. Must be flexible, team oriented and a quick learner. Minimum of three-years accounting experience working for or with businesses. Experience with computerized general ledger accounting systems required. Experience with Peachtree or Great Plains a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
