 Rick
Welsch CPA, CFP joined Wegner LLP, CPAs and Consultants in
1974 and became a partner in 1983. In 1988 Rick was named
Managing Partner and he held that position until November
2002.
Rick received his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) license
in 1990. He specializes in providing complete financial
and tax consulting services to closely held companies and
individuals. His industry expertise includes work with:
- Construction
- Manufacturing
- Real Estate
- Planning
- Hospitality
Rick is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants, the Wisconsin Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and is licensed to practice in Wisconsin. He is Treasurer of the South Metropolitan Businessman's Association.
He also maintains membership in the Management Consulting and
Financial Planning Divisions of the AICPA.
He received his degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison
in accounting and finance. He has been a member of several
WICPA committees, the audit committee of Good Shepherd
Lutheran Church, Madison South Rotary and the Jaycees.
