Wegner LLP believes in and encourages
our professionals to have strong community involvement. The
talents and leadership abilities of our professionals are
evidenced in their volunteering and active participation
in a wide variety of organizations. We believe no firm can
be stronger than its community. We are proud of this long-standing
support and ongoing effort of involvement in the community.
We recently received the Dane County Small Business award
in recognition of such service.
As a company, we participate in and sponsor a number
of community events. Just to name a few, we have participated
in the Dane County Paint-A-Thon, Shop with a Cop, Toys
for Tots, Second Harvest Foodbank, Dozer Days, Crazylegs,
and Safety Saturday.
We are very proud of our employee’s dedication
to our community. Our employee’s have dedicated countless
hours of volunteer time at company-sponsored events, client
events, and other organizations they have strong ties to.
Many serve on boards of non-profits, while others participate
in bike-a-thons, walks, and relays to raise money for various
organizations. Each year our employees participate in the
United Way and Community Shares campaign. Wegner LLP then
matches dollar for dollar for each employee’s contribution.
The partners/owners of Wegner LLP are a great role model
for the rest of our employees when it comes to giving back
to our community. As mentioned above, they match all employees’ contributions
for the United Way and Community Shares campaign. They
also implemented a volunteer matching program, which is
explained in the WICPA article, CPAs Prioritize Public Service.
They, too, participate in the company-sponsored events,
client events, and other organizations they are involved
with.
