One of the most important aspects for non-profit organizations
is resources. Since invested capital is limited many non-profit
organizations must rely on the resources of others.
External resources can be professionals, lawyers, accountants,
bankers, and other consultants. Sometimes these resources
are available on a volunteer or pro-bono basis, other times
you can find discounted services available.
Internal resources are the persons you employ or the volunteers
who sit on your board. Often they can be an invaluable
resource to your organization and often board recruitment
is focused on identifying those potential resources.
There are many resources available to your organization
if you take the time to search them out. The following
is a list developed to assist your organization to find
the materials, talent, and answers to the questions which
will help you achieve your mission.
